TECHNOLOGY AND PROCESSES
CNC punching at WECUBEX uses the latest technology to guarantee the highest level of precision. With our AMADA AE 26 10 NT punching machine, we can process sheets with dimensions of up to 1,250 x 3,000 mm and a thickness of up to 8 mm.
This process is based on shearing, a cutting process that separates the material without thermal stress. The process is computer-controlled, ensuring high repeatability and efficiency.
SHEET METAL PUNCHING: THE PROCESS IN DETAIL
The punching process at WECUBEX consists of four clearly defined stages. First, the sheet metal is deformed by the punch before being cut in the second stage. In the third stage, the material fractures along the cutting contour.
Finally, the punched-out piece, known as the slug, is ejected. A stripper ensures that the sheet metal does not remain attached to the punch, helping to maintain the quality of the finished product.
